Bond Park Bootcamp

Location: Bond Park

 

Description: Join us for an intense, high-energy bootcamp workout in Bond Park. Get fit and have fun with our certified trainers! All fitness levels welcome. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle and a mat.

 

 

Zumba Dance Party

 

Date: March 22

 

Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

 

Location: City Community Center

 

Description: Shake your hips and groove to the beat in this exciting Zumba Dance Party! Our experienced instructors will guide you through a dynamic combination of dance and exercise routines. All levels of dance experience are welcome. Bring a friend and let’s have a blast!

 

 

Yoga in the Park

 

Date: March 24

 

Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

 

Location: Central Park

 

Description: Find your inner peace and strength with our Yoga in the Park session. Enjoy the fresh outdoors as our yoga instructor leads you through a series of calming and invigorating poses. Beginners are welcome, so grab your yoga mat and join us for a rejuvenating morning.

 

 

Indoor Cycling

Location: Downtown Gym

Boxing Fitness

Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

 

Location: Boxing Club

 

Description: Channel your inner boxer and work up a sweat in our Boxing Fitness class. Learn basic boxing techniques, improve your endurance, and strengthen your core in this dynamic and intense workout. Gloves and wraps will be provided. Come and punch your way to fitness!

 

This week, DC area residents can take advantage of a variety of free fitness classes. From Yoga to Zumba, there are plenty of convenient activities and locations to get your heart rate up and break out a sweat!

At Bikram Yoga Dupont Circle, participants can enjoy a free ninety-minute introductory class on Thursday from 6pm-7:30pm. This hot yoga series is designed to increase flexibility, strength and mental clarity. To participate, just show up 10 minutes early to register.

Burn Bright Fitness offers a free core and HIIT class every Tuesday evening. The 45-minute session is designed for all levels and uses a range of intensities to challenge each individual. The class culminates with a guided meditation and stretching to cool down.

Zumba is a popular choice for people who want an easy and fun way to exercise. At Jumpin’ Jacks Fitness, the class is appropriate for both beginners and experienced participants. Zumba classes are available every Saturday morning from 9am-10am.
